Its [liquid wrapper](/the-open-x-project/opxvelo-optimism.md) features novel mechanics to tokenize the value of a vote-escrow position. The project has no outside funding. Its tokens were fair launched to perform functions within the project. Its developing governance structure is an [experiment](/the-open-x-project/nft-collections-optimism.md) in decentralization.&#x20;
